Don't think that you will never manage to do all this because over a period of time you will gradually acquire an automatic ability to do so. Rome was not built in a day and you should only start with one person at a time, and write things down and review them.

Whole new worlds of opportunity, interest and associations will come to you with a better memory. It is not difficult to improve your memory at any age. Older people tend to expect to forget things but they should not. Unless they have developed an illness like dementia they will continue to have more than adequate brain cells, they just need to exercise them. The brain loses its sharpness without exercise in the same way that muscles do, but an old brain can be re-trained more easily than an old muscle.
