1/ When we work on low priorities we sabotage our health, wealth and happiness

What is a low priority? A low priority is a task that we are

a/ not good at

b/ not instrumental in getting our dreams achieved

c/ just a way of making money

d/ half hearted … we just don’t believe that what we are doing is of any importance

What is important to one person is unimportant to another. So delegation means finding someone who loves doing what we are not good at, or what is not sustainable for our constitution. This one change will bring you home in a way that makes you a worthy partner for the one you love.

2/ There is ego achievement and there is your Dharma

Dharma is what you were born to do. Ego is what you get the most self esteem from doing. For example; if you are a gifted musician, but you are afraid that no one will buy your music, you might become an airline pilot because everyone loves airline pilots. The good news is you have a good job, the bad news is you’ll be bored and your relationships will be uninspiring. You’ll probably even have affairs to keep the energy. If we don’t do what we are born to do, our Dharma, we will struggle to be happy at home and at work. We might even blame the company or the job, but really, we are a square peg in a round hole. It hurts. And it exhausts us. It’s no the companies fault. Find your passion, turn you hobby into a passion project. Then a career.

3/ A sacred relationship cannot exist when we are not inspired in our personal life.

There is family time, relationship time, me time, work time, friends time, relaxation time, and health time. There are many times. We all struggle to keep a balance on them. Sometimes they are out of balance and we get exhausted. Really, it is a matter of priority. If you want a sacred relationship you need to prioritise that. This means balance. It means turning up available and energized, happy to see your beloved. This is very important, it does not come from having an easy job, no, it comes from having the right job. Remember, there is a difference between stress and distress. Distress separates us, stress gives us a challenge to grow through. You have to learn how to delegate, subcontract and sacrifice a little profit for quality of relationship. Don’t expect love at home if all you bring home is the leftovers from an exhausting emotional day.

If one of you is on top of a mountain and the other one is in the bottom of the ocean, you are together through love, unless of course you loose control of your emotions. 6/ The true measure of a days work is not the result.

We put our energy into everything we do, including our business and career. If we have a bad attitude, a resentment or stubborn approach to people, then that energy flows into our products. If you want to test whether this is true or false. Try this. You are about to have a lung operation. Cut you open and operate. The surgeon just found out their friend died. They are sad, crying and depressed, and yes, here we go, they are about to cut you open. How do you feel about it? So, the measure of your day is the quality of your intent, your mood, your emotional state of mind. Grateful, inspired, kind guarantees that whatever you did, will give you energy, not zap it.

7/ People become as you treat them

For every complaint you give a person, you’ll need 200 compliments to balance it. For every piece of advice you offer someone who didn’t ask for it, you’ll pay in triplicate. People become as we treat them. If we can just look for the beauty in someone, we can see the gift they have. Then, if we are employing them we can de-personalize work scheduling, hiring and management. Then the right person for the right job is the one who does it best, in the shortest time. This is efficiency. It is not personal.

8/ Be real, don’t be deluded by peoples half stories.

Although I spend allot of time condemning positive elated thinking, I do however, believe that every cloud has a silver lining. I am not interested in bad news only, nor good news only. Tell me you did it tough at work yesterday and I’ll ask for the good news. Tell me you did it amazing at work yesterday, I might shut up, but I’ll think, “I wonder what the challenge was. I am not interested in half stories. They cause illness, disease and domestic problems. Love is to hear both sides of everything and if you are patient and wait long enough, you will.

9/ You have the key

She did this to me. He did that to me. What do you hear? You hear victims blaming people. This is very disempowering. Really, nobody does to us more than we do to ourselves. So, blame causes us huge exhaustion because we feel so powerless. Even if it feels a bit false it’s better say, “wow, look what I created” or “I wonder why I did that” – if a boyfriend cheats on you then leaves you, then instead of saying boo hoo, look what happened to me, you can ask “hmmm, I wonder why I got rid of him?”

Anyways, live with spirit
