One of the reasons why many are against doing anything about Iran and their nuclear weapons manufacturing is because they say that if the United States attacks then the whole world will gang up on us. Meaning Russian, China, Syria and all the domino falling Central and South American Countries too. But this simply is not so.

The critics of the Bush Administration’s resolve to not allow Iran to have nuclear weapons say that the United States cannot fight the whole World. This comment is irrelevant although they very forcefully say that triggering a larger conflict is indeed Macho Garbage and they say that President Bush was elected President of the US, not the entire Planet.

The reality is that The United States of America could fight the whole world and win (if you could call that winning, certainly not for humanity as a whole) and that is not Macho anything. It is a reality. Of course if we pulled out all the stops, it would be a horrific day for the rest of humanity. There would not be much left.

Indeed most of our Nuclear Subs, one individual sub, has more fire power than the 7th largest military; only 1 Sub. A battle group? Well, what do you think? We have six of those? The US has the most ominous and terrifying weapons mankind has ever known in all the 10,000 years of written recorded history. That is not Macho garbage of course, it is the truth.

The United States is not NAZI Germany; we have no intention of anything like that. But we are the greatest nation (militarily, industrially, economically) ever created in the History of mankind. If the World gets nasty, we must protect the American People. The Modern Day Liberal Theory of perspective based thinking is an interesting concept; however we should not deny the problems with rogue nations which have nuclear weapons.

We must protect the American People and it is irresponsible to allow Iran to have nuclear weapons, especially under this current regime. It would a very poor choice as most world socio-political analysts agree. Perhaps Carl von Clausewitz knew what to do about situations like this; he called it protecting your Nation. And we call it protecting the US, allies and free-people of the World.

Is it morally right to pre-empt. That is the only question and to that question I say Yes. Yes it is. And it is absolutely immoral to do nothing. Most would not agree with that, and thus we debate the morality of human wars. For me personally this is intellect and reality talking and it has nothing to do with Macho.

If Iran is less its military, weapons and nuclear manufacturing capacity with a 20,000 sortie hop, skip and a jump from a couple of Battlegroups, well that would balance the power in the region now that Saddam and his threatening military have been deleted. And if Iran stops meddling in Iraq then Iraq can get back to what it should be and Iran can re-group without this regime. This would then be what Western Cultures like to call a Win/Win.
