What is honor? Where has it gone in our every day society? Why do we not know such words anymore in our current western society?

Honor as explained from wikipedia is “Accordingly, individuals are assigned worth and stature based on a harmony between their own code of honour and that of the society at large”

And…

“honour (or honor) comprises the reputation, self-perception or moral identity of an individual or of a group”.

Or as stated in the dictionary…

“honesty, fairness, or integrity in one's beliefs and actions” and “to show a courteous regard for”

So why do we know have no honor? Did man ever have it to begin with?

People speak to me of religion, we kill in the name of religion! No, they kill in the name of what is written on a piece of paper in a book and how that writing is interpreted. So you kill based on a single piece of writing… a few words over a human life.

And then you have the bloody gall to tell me you are right and correct… human life over a few words and words that you can not even prove are true!

You kill someone’s wife, son, husband, parent, love. You snuff there life out in an instant and all based on a few improvable lines. You have no honor, you have no dignity, you have no regard for your human brothers, your morals have been swept aside by your wish to be superior and right… there is nothing holistic about your intent.

Because if there was, you would seek more truth, more answers. You would look into all of the religions of the world and see what they have to say, you would explore all other faiths and non faiths.

And just as an example, history repeats itself once again. The Israeli’s fencing the Palestine’s in just as they once were them selves fenced in. They them themselves have become the enemies, doing just the same as Hitler did once back then... the only difference this time is that such action is not only being approved buy the US but actually supported with funds.

So have I side tracked? Were we getting back to honor?
