The Christian may not have what He desires at first but he will have what he needs. For the Bible states, “With Food and Raiment there with be content. If you are rich, help the poor, if you are poor, praise God for His mercies upon you each and every day. Can we not be content before God? Cannot we thank Him for His blessings before they become manifest? Cant we just trust and obey? There are multitudes of Christians that are never without and those that are in need each day, but before the eyes of the Lord, there is no difference between them. The rich are in the hands of God as those that are Poor. We trust, obey and believe in the redeeming power of God. We trust and believe in His word, His Spirit and His Son. We are who we are by the grace of God. I am not ashamed to call the poor my brothers and sisters, I am not ashamed to call the needy my brethren, I am not ashamed to call all men, that believe in Christ, a member of the Church of the first born.
