Sometimes men find it terrific to stay all weekend at home in his PJs, without shaving, brushing teeth, combing hair, or showering. They will do this to de-stress and not to embarrass us. It is the time when they let go of his ordinary activities and roles and almost literally enter their caves. It is the time to pursue their atavism so that they can feel whole again. It is a man’s thing.

Let’s take such days as their "porcupine, dragon, or pig day" though I resent defaming animals, God’s magnificent creatures and leave it at that. There is no need to get upset, complain, nag, threaten because we will be wasting our time.

I think that letting go of our appearance once in a while is not the end of the world. In fact, it is a great decompressing activity.

Of course, some limits apply. A man who is not appropriately dressed and groomed to face society should not appear in public (even to collect the newspaper) nor let friends over. It is utterly unbecoming, unless he spends the day with his buddies on a camping trip or something like that.

A Word of Advice

Ladies: Either follow suit or avoid him like the plague. Of course, there is no complaining that you don’t want to get closer.
