Some are physical, some are mental, some emotional and some spiritual. When we were young we wanted others to help us break through those barriers. But there comes a time in life when the only thing others can do is lead us to the barrier. We then must break through on our own-no one else can do it for you. One of the most notable is recorded in the Book of Romans. The term hydroponics stands for the technique of cultivating plants in a nutrient solution rather than in soil. It’s a novel technique of growing plants in water which contains dissolved nutrients. This technique is also known as indoor gardening, aquiculture and tank farming.Studies have proved the fact that plant roots are able to absorb the nutrients from the water even without soil. The new technique hydroponics is based on the concept that plants can be grown without any soil at all.P Romans 10:8-10: But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Someone can speak God's Word to us. Someone can explain the new birth process. Someone can take us right to the door, but only we can walk through. Only we can break through the barrier from natural man to being born again of God's spirit. Remember, God has no grandchildren; everyone is a direct descendant. God provided the plan and Christ made it available, but we must push through. They say that this is the hardest, but after that, earning your second million is easy. There are also mental barriers like how you see yourself and what you think you can do. We also face self-imposed barriers concerning our spiritual growth and development. It is important to note that if we allow ourselves to be intimidated and do not make the decision to break through a barrier, it will soon become a ceiling on our lives. I do not believe there should be any limit on life and with God, we should be able to do all that we desire to do. So let's take a look at some barriers. Do you think there were any barriers concerning the birth of Christ? Did Mary face a barrier when the angel told her she was chosen? Could anyone do it for her? The angel told her what was available. God wanted her to do it, all of creation needed her to do it, but it was up to Mary. When she said, "…be it unto me according to thy word" she broke through the barrier. Now, do you think there were other barriers to overcome? We can look back and say that this was a no-brainer for Joseph, but from where he stood, it was a huge barrier to accept a wife who was already pregnant and it wasn't the only one he faced. Only Joseph could accept Mary as his wife after she was already pregnant. Only Joseph could make the decision to believe what God had shown him in a dream to leave immediately and go into Egypt so that Herod wouldn't kill Jesus. He had to face those barriers and break through. Now, what about Jesus Christ? Christ made the decision to give up his life. The angel encouraged him, but he had to break through this barrier and what a barrier it was. By doing it, Christ set a standard for us and an example to follow.
