And - for some time - when I looked at their beginnings I would fantasize about doing what they did and then realize that most of what I fantasized about was being rich like them. ths ago, I was watching a television show about a Department store in New York that holds an annual contest for inventors and their inventions. One of these got my attention - a battery operated crescent wrench - ( you press a button and the jaws open and/or close to the size of a nut you may want to tighten or loosen). In my current employment I use a manual crescent wrench on a regular basis; and of late I find it woefully inadequate and obsolete, (although I ask it to hang tough until the battery operated one comes to market).

I think now - the man who invented this wrench found his niche when he came up with an eloquent and simple enhancement that shuold prove to be useful.

Maybe soon I will find my niche - who knows maybe my next generation will add to it enough to buy Microsoft; if not, I hope to be one of those enhancers who help to improve or add value to people's lives.

I recently attended a Microsoft event at their corporate headquarters in Redmond, Washington. This event was a fantastic opportunity to meet with fellow leaders in the Microsoft partner community from around the world and spend quality time with each one of them. The event was held over four days and we had a very tight schedule and the importance of timeliness was critical to its overall success.

Career motivation is a great thing to have and if you do not have it, you should work on getting it. You need motivation to get what you want in life and to have the best career that you can have. If you think that you are lacking in motivation, you need to work on it. There are a few tips that will help you get to where you need to be in your career motivation skills...

Self-discipline. This is the single most important factor when you want to run your own business. If you have spent years in the work force, with someone else telling you when to go to work, what to do when you get there, when to take a break, then when to go home, you will have to re-learn how to behave. And Self-Discipline is the only way to do that. Another way to say it is Self-Control, Willpower, or Drive. If you can not find the drive to change your thought patterns about the way you work, you will not make it as a self-employed person.
