Customer Service And The Truth About Happy Customers
All entrepreneurs who run their own small companies believe that they have the greatest customer service and yet if they were to survey their customers they might find out the truth about exactly how happy their customers actually are. When doing surveys for customer service for small businesses I am always amazed at the difference between what the entrepreneur thinks about his own customer service and what the customers actually think.Another interesting point is that many custo

    Venice, Revolution
The Arsenal of Venice is the dockyard where for century after century the fighting navies of the Republic were built, laid up and repaired. Thence the galleys rowed out that captured Constantinople and humbled the pride of Genoa, and thither the decked battleships returned from the last struggles with the Turk in the Grecian seas. The Arsenal was the office and workshop equally of Vettor Pisani and the seamen of the heroic age, of those who fought at Lepanto, and of the heavy-wigged Admi
I find myself thinking about blessings a lot lately; more specifically, the concept of feeling blessed.

In a recent article, I wrote about the bittersweet periods in life when we find ourselves struggling through difficulties at the same time we’re experiencing moments of joy, and the importance of focusing more on the happiness and gratitude we feel rather than pain and fear.

After a couple of weeks consistently focusing more on blessings and gratitude, I’m beginning to see that amazing things happen when we do this. First and foremost, our difficulties don’t seem so overwhelming anymore. They’re still there of course, but choosing not to dwell on them sure does dim their power.

Secondly, focusing more on our blessings strengthens and energizes us. Rather than feeling like a victim, we feel empowered and inspired. Even better, we feel motivated to reach out and share our joyful feelings with others. Doing this in even subtle ways can still make a powerful difference in the world.

First Date Etiquette You Should Always Follow
Think you know how to act on a first date? There are some basic rules of etiquette that you should always follow if you want to get a second date. Too often people are far too nervous to remember their own name, let alone these rules. But, when you do relax and be your mannerly self, you will find you will in fact be more successful in dating.Dress AppropriatelyIf you're going to an elegant restaurant, don't show up in ripped jeans, a tank top, and a baseball cap. The Signs and Symptoms Of Infant Acid Reflux
Every baby spits up. But when it always happens, and when it is accompanied by fits of screaming, drops of blood in the spit up, arching of the back, it could be a case of infant GERD. Although many of these cases of acid reflux correct themselves within two years of birth, some children can continue to experience these symptoms for many years, or develop other GERD-related illness such as chronic ear infections, low weight, esophagitis, and strictures. The symptoms of infant acid

This series of articles takes a different slant than the usual targeting of aspiring entrepreneurs. Here we focus on existing business owners that believe the Internet is important to their future success, but they just can’t seem to get started embracing it as an effective marketing tool. Have you ever blessed someone silently? For as long as I can remember, I’ve prayed for people I don’t know. I’m not sure where I picked up the habit, but I routinely send out blessings and positive thoughts for the people I encounter each day. I bless the jogger making his way through heavy traffic, and ask the universe to protect and guide him in all he does. I bless the harried mother in the supermarket and ask for her to be infused with patience and endurance so she can raise healthy, happy children – and keep her sanity in the process! I bless the children playing near the street and ask angels to protect them from harm.

Because I’m such a big animal lover, I also make a habit of routinely blessing our four-footed friends. Yesterday, I blessed a squirrel that was busily gathering fallen acorns from the trees in my backyard. I doubt he noticed, but I felt inspired to send out some positive thoughts on his behalf. (Or was it a she? I forgot to ask.) Anyway, I blessed him and wished him an abundance of nuts and a warm nest to sustain him and his family through the coming winter.

It might sound funny, blessing a squirrel. However, if you stop to think
