We are coming up to the end of the year and the time when many of us look to clean out the clutter in the office. It may be just to fill the time during the slow holiday week but it can also be an opportunity to practice good document retention practices. Most offices have a retention policy for official company records, i.e. tax returns, employee files and bank statements. I heard an advertisement on the radio the other day that surprised me, not because they were saying anything noteworthy, but because it was so banal. It was a national company’s ad. They pay an ad agency to write and produce their commercials. Thanks to a persistent pain in my left leg, I am temporarily unable to run out on the street. Luckily, however, I've discovered that I can run pain-free on a treadmill (go figure). And so last month, I joined the local Gold's Gym (Milford, MA).In the short time I've been a member at Gold's, I've noticed two things:Only extremely muscular men wear those skimpy tank tops.
