And that’s what happened, I believe, in Tiger’s case. Enough people noticed and recognized him for his excellence at being the leading player in professional golf that Tiger then acknowledged to himself that he had achieved what he had set out to become. And lest you think that Tiger is being fat headed, you have to admit that it would be hard not to notice if you’re consistently scoring 10 points better than your competitors week in and week out. There is no way you would not notice that.
