Why Financial Statements Are Important: A Beginner's Guide
Accounting is considered to be one of those complicated yet necessary chores that keep people's financial affairs relatively clean. For the beginner who is just getting started, the process may not be the first obstacle. Often, it is understanding the special language used by accountants and those that work around them. In other words, one must wade through the jargon in order to understand what's going on. The first step in gaining understanding of accounting is to break concepts down to one fundamental
estion is "how do I reach them?"

I'll get to the "how do I" in a second, but first let me explain to you WHY I am so bent on you considering the offline market. I have worked with my local Enterprise Center - in Ontario (Canada) these Centers provide those who want to start a business with

Promote your Business with Good Writing: The Press Needs You
Many business owners think the only way to promote their services is to advertise. But advertising can be expensive and sometimes even a complete waste of money. There are more effective ways to promote your business using the press, so let's get started with three of them.ArticlesWhatever your business, whether it's an insurance company, a fashion outlet, a firm of accountants, a fishmonger or a hairdresser, there is something you know that other people want to know. There are a great many online business people who are forgetting the potential that this particular forgotten market can be providing them. The forgotten market I am referring to is the off-line market and as for the potential, it could prove to be quite profitable for you. What you need to do though, is take the blinders off and focus on "all potentials" NOT JUST the one track mindset of setting up campaigns geared towards the online market.

I understand that setting up an email campaign geared to the online market is easy in more ways than one. I mean the online community already "gets it" as far as how the internet and online marketing works, therefore the "education" isn't necessarily warranted or needed. Based on that it takes perhaps less time to see the fruits of your labour.

    HOWEVER ...

What you are contending with when targeting just the "online" market is saturation. Those online stand a good chance of already being exposed to someone from your particular program already sending them something, therefore your message is lost.

The offline market however haven't been exposed and therefore you have a fresh audience to target your message to. The question is "how do I reach them?"

Convertible/ Hybrid Displays for Trade Shows
Another recent improvement in the trade show industry is the use of convertible or hybrid displays – displays that contain modular components that can be used by themselves or together to create multiple sized displays. This versatility gives companies that exhibit at different venues each year a cost-effective and versatile display to use throughout the year. The ProblemYour company exhibits at several shows throughout the year, however your exhibit space varies depending on the show.

Effective Meetings by Phone - Part 2, How to Hold a Teleconference
Even a well-planned teleconference can go poorly. Some people treat any meeting as a casual social activity instead of as a serious business project. And a teleconference brings special challenges because people attend them in the privacy of their office without being able to see or be seen by the other participants.Use these techniques to hold a more effective meeting by phone.1) Begin with a quick round of self introductions so that everyone can find out who is present and hear ev

5 Ways to Move Your Company Grant Program to a Strategic Philanthrop Program
Many company giving programs are merely opportunities to respond to specific requests from organizations. However, a company in the pursuit of doing good, should aim to do better and even “more” better in the long run. Continuously Moving Your Marketing Forward
Marketing is an ongoing journey for your business. That might seem like an obvious statement, but the actions of many small business owners might indicate otherwise. For many you build a web site, or create a brochure, or go to a few networking events and then you wait for results to happen. Effective marketing rarely works like that.It takes regular and consistent effort to keep your pipeline full of good high-quality leads that you can work on converting into paying clients. I

I'll get to the "how do I" in a second, but first let me explain to you WHY I am so bent on you considering the offline market. I have worked with my local Enterprise Center - in Ontario (Canada) these Centers provide those who want to start a business with information/support and guidance to get up and running. What I have done is sat down with my local center and asked, based on the coaches experience, what seemed to be some of the bigger challenges that their clients have been asking for help with. The majority responded in the area of marketing, more specficially online marketing and how to get their business online.

These people are offline and therefore are the "forgotten market" that I was referring to.

The reaching them quite frankly is the easy part of this whole process. What I did was, through talking with the business coaches, it made arrangements to faciliate a series of workshops geared towards online marketing and how to get a business online. It took a little work in writing the seminar, however, the end results were incredible. See, by doing these workshops I had a room of 20-35 targeted "visitors" to my workshop. They were there because they were INTERESTED in what the topic was and were looking for INFORMATION to help them.

Within the confines of my workshop I was able to weave in my affiliate programs - the ones that related to the topic at hand. I explained how these products/services worked f
