Deep down, I believe this fear of lack of control is a starting point for some to reject God and His Word. To be honest, sinners become convicted when they hear people claim that sinners are going to Hell. They say, “How can a God love us so much yet doom us to this place?”
If you understand that you have a body, soul, and spirit, you then understand that your body (flesh) will not live forever. However, your spirit and soul will live on in eternity. As you read this, please understand that unlike many people who have passed away, you still have a choice in your fate. Where do you wish to spend eternity?
Atheists, agnostics, evolutionist, etc. proclaim many false ideas:
• “God is not real. Nor is the devil.”
• “Well, all roads lead to Heaven.”
• “As long as I ’m a good person, that ’s all God cares about.”
Ask yourself: If evolution is responsible for all the vast creations in space and the endless varieties of species of life on innumerable planets, then why is the law not working today? And why do we not have actual and unquestionable examples of various stages of evolution from the lowest to the highest form of life?
If evolution was valid then we should see the evidence of it TODAY. Is it not strange that the process has been at a standstill for the period man has been on Earth to observe the “law of evolution” at work? (Dakes Annotated Bible)
Evolution directly conflicts with the Bible, the authoritative book of God’s Word. Think about it, if people become more accepting of the Theory of Evolution, then it’s highly likely that they would disregard not only the book of Genesis, which details the story of creation, but the entire Bible.
When people seek the truth about the Bible or Jesus Christ, a process of believing begins. It’s not a sudden process, but a gradual one. One forms a base line opinion, and then starts to find evidence to support one’s beliefs. Deep within your soul Jesus Christ becomes logical for you. It just makes sense and it’s a difficult process to explain unless you have had the privilege of an experience with Jesus Christ. Some of the reasons listed below are by no means the only reasons to believe the Bible, but they are the most obvious ones in my opinion.

On May 15, 1948, the nation of Israel was reborn. The rebirth of the state of Israel is a staggering fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. In 721 B.C., the nation of Israel vanished from the face of the Earth when King Sargon II of Assyria conquered it. The inhabitants he enslaved became known as the ten lost tribes of Israel. After thousands of years, all the world powers, including the United Nations, recognized the state of Israel on May 15, 1948, finally allowing the Jews to have a place they could call home. Most countries evolve over time, but as the Lord declared, Israel was born in one day.
The evidence of God’s Word is true; one must take the time to search out the truth for themselves. Grab a sheet of paper! Below are seven questions that you should ask yourself before your soul departs the earth. If you allow yourself to read and answer the questions with an open heart and mind, the pay off will be immeasurable.
What do you believe happens to your loved ones once they have passed away? Why?
What do you believe will happen to your spirit and soul once you die?
How do you know that your religious/spiritual beliefs are right? List reasons explaining your beliefs.
What do you know about Jesus Christ? List five things that you know about Jesus Christ.
What would you like to know about Jesus? List five things that you would like to know about Him.
When people tell you that Jesus Christ is the One and only way to gaining eternal life in Heaven what comes to mind? Do you believe it? Why?
Do you believe in Jesus Christ? Why and why not?
You may feel that these questions are unnecessary and choose not to do them—which possibly means that you need to address the questions even more. Don’t miss giving yourself the opportunity to ultimately find the truth.
