So you are looking for an apartment to rent or a house to purchase. One of the most important steps is researching the neighborhood to decide if you really like to live in that area. The best way to do this is driving around that area to see if you really like that neighborhood. You should pay attention to traffic, available stores, available transportation, noise level etc. Also, you should try visiting the neighborhood during different times of the day.<
Now replace the water with money and the drain is your monthly expenses.
As I see it, you have two choices; you can either try to plug the drain as best you can, or you can turn on the tap.
Understand the drain will be bigger than you can block completely as you can't stop all the water from leaving because after all, you will have to use some water (money) to live.
What you do have great control over though is the tap. If your tap right now is just dripping out just as much water as needs to produce each month to keep the water in the tub; (or maybe you have a little less than you need each month) you either have to do a better job of plugging the drain or you have to increase the flow from your tap.
I think you will agree it would be a lot less effort if you just turned on the tap and a lot less stress too.
Now turn on the tap so that you are adding more water to the tub than you are draining out, to the point that you are overflowing, now your focus can be on removing obstructions from your drain and allow the money to flow.
There are an endless number of things you could do in this situation. You will never have to worry again about having enough water and now you can focus on things like gifts, holidays, donations and more.
So what can you do to turn on the tap?
Well, you can do a whole bunch of things and the good news it is totally up to you to choose. The key it to make a choice, even if it is not the right choice, make a choice and work to make the choice right. If you make the wrong choice, then make another choice and follow through with it. If you allow yourself to make many choices, you will eventually make the right one and it will pay huge dividends to you.
You could get a better job, maybe one with less commute. You could invest your money and collect on the profits. You could start your own business and eliminate your boss as the middle man who collects most of the profit that you make for the company that employs you. You can do anything.
I can assure you that turning on the tap is not as hard to do as you think, if you do not have any ideas on how to do any of the above things, there are many resources available to you. Seek out an employment advisor, a financial advisor, or best of all, get a business mentor. There are many people that make a living out of making your life better; it is up to you to find them.
You life will be the same next year unless you do something about it. The fear of change, the thought of your job being secure, the stories you tell yourself as to why not are all a bunch of stories you have told yourself and have bought into.
People are changing parts of their lives every day, more often for the better.

Let me first clarify something: when I refer to items as "cheap" in this article, I am referring to the quality and not necessarily the price. There are many high quality pieces of equipment that are "cheaply" priced and there is no reason to suspect any problematic capabilities to be present simply because of a lower priced piece of merchandise.
