Like a streak of lightening, it went up the tree and down the tree and barked then back and forth, over and over. This episode went on for about an hour and a half. Finally I figured out why I was not seeing any deer!

Then I guess he seen it in my eyes because he ran up the tree and stopped at about eighteen feet and just barked. So I said to myself, “What do I have to lose!” I pulled the bow back and put my pin on his back and pulled my release. There it was now pinned to the tree with my arrow 18 feet up. Then the squirrel started to move and shake, just as luck would have it, I watched as the squirrel slide down my arrow and fell to the ground. Never the less, I took meat home, not as much as expected but when you go hunting you can’t always fill your tag. My hunting buddy did not see any deer either, only squirrels.
