There are many ways to increase sales. One of my favorites is to give the customer a free item with purchase. This could be a product in-store, from another company, or even a gift certificate. Let’s talk about the different ways to use each one.Giving a free product from the store is my least recommended method. Customers may see it as you trying to get rid of a bad item. It is only effective if the customers find the product to be desirable. It would be better to order from one of your vendors a product that you don’t normally carry.The best products are ones the vendor is offering at a special price. For example, let’s say there is a picture frame that normally costs you $5 and you sell for $10. The vendor has a special promotion for $2 each.
