    Abatement of Noxious Compounds and Chemicals in the Cleaning Business
    So often in the cleaning business chemicals are not stored properly and neither are the empty containers which conveniently leak, mix with rain water and tip over and soak into the ground surrounding the building and seep into the ground water causing environmental issues; you know like three legged frogs and such. Now mind you I am not an environmentalist, but I do know a thing or two about environmental pollution and lots about the cleaning industry and business, especially on

    I was working on a new E-Course the other day when I got to the lesson that addresses the importance of having a marketing plan and I immediately thought, "no one's going to want to read this one."My 16-year-old daughter happened to be in my office at the time, and I explained to her that while most business owners want to be good marketers and be successful, for whatever reason, the idea of having to create a marketing plan turns them off.Or, they're just not inte
    Question: What do the following have in common?

    How Far Will You Go to Sell Something?
    There are salespeople who would say almost anything in order to achieve their goal. One could say that unethical attitude is a necessary ingredient in sales profession.     A Big Assumption in the ‘spinning my wheels’ example could be that this sales manager can’t say no to requests. She assumes that if she does, she won’t be seen as a strong leader, people won’t like her and she’ll be shunned.

    Here are some common Big Assumption that I see many sales people and sales managers hold:

    · They assume that the have to do everything themselves, do it well, and do it today. If they don’t, they assume they will be seen as weak, ineffective, or a loser.

    · Many sales managers constantly solve other people’s problems. The Big Assumption could be that if the salesperson solved the problem themselves in a less than perfect way (i.e. the sales manager’s way), the sales manager would be seen as a failure. Or, th
