You Are the First Enabler of the Learning Organization
There is an inherent relation between learning and change. Think about how you changed when you grew up; during those years where you absorbed most new knowledge and experience is where you changed most. And then there comes a time where we tend to learn less. After we have finished school or graduated the urgency to learn more diminishes. We have reached a stadium – a status – where we are proud of what we know. We have become someone. What we learn from than on is "marginal;" the new knowledge and experience doesn't change the form of the old existing knowledge (base). We learn in a linea

    What To Do
Ever had that perfect life when everything seems perfect yet you wanna die. I am in the situation where I have the perfect imperfect world. I have a daughter which might not be mine after 6 years of believing she is, I have a girlfriend who is so imperfect she is perfect for me. A son well he is only 8 months old and he seems to be the only perfect balance at the moment. My girlfriend doesnt know what she wants in life and with the internet at my finger tips it doesn't help me much why cause its not perfect. I discovered many months ago that everyone is the best advisor in the world "droppi
The best way to get a new customer is to clearly identify who you want to do business with and then get in front of them. They can then see what you look like, possibly see what your product looks like and also examine any data or statistics you might have. It gives you the ideal opportunity to start building a positive working relationship with your potential customer.

Advertising, direct mail, web sites and telesales all have their place but nothing beats the face to face interview. The first challenge is, of course, getting to speak to your prospect and arrange a meeting.

When you phone your prospect's organisation it's highly possible you won't get through initially even if you have their direct number. There's always an assistant, a colleague or voice mail to deal with.

Why Most People Fail In MLM
Here, (in my opinion) are the 2 reasons MLM Has a 95%-97% Failure Rate1. The individual participating in the MLM business opportunity must take responsibility for there own success or failure?I mean give me a break, how can you honestly join an opportunity, do nothing, drop out, and then say that it was a scam? Don't get me wrong, there is definitely a lot of crap out there but I would argue that the vast majority of us who participate in these programs enter with the best of intentions and then quickly get discouraged and drop out...even when the company itself is very legi

Entrepreneurship - Do You Have What It Takes?
Fully one in ten adults in the United States today is an entrepreneur. This phenomenon is by no means restricted to North America. The leading country for entrepreneurship is Brazil with one in eight adults an entrepreneur. Australia is not far behind the U.S. with one in twelve. These countries - Brazil, the United States and Australia - lead the way. Contrast, for example, Germany (one in 25), the United Kingdom (one in 33), Finland and Sweden (one in 50) and Ireland and Japan (less than one in 100). A Career in the Advertising Business
With all its glitz and glamour, many people believe that working in advertising is all fun and games. Nothing could be father from the truth as advertising agency people are some of the hardest working professionals around. At its very core, advertising is still a business and a very competitive business at that. Now, if despite that knowledge, you still think that advertising is a good place of employment, then read on to get a better idea of how the advertising world works.Basically, advertising serves the function of promoting goods and services through the mass media, which includes te

How To Hit Your Sales Targets in 2006
This time of year many business people are looking ahead to next year with optimism and determination to make record revenue targets. It’s as if by turning the calendar from December to January somehow all things will be great and obstacles that seem too big this year will magically disappear. Well if this year didn’t quite match up to the expectations, intentions and well wishes for a great 2005, here are 5 tips that will help you develop opportunities for your sales force.Define the meaning of the word “lead”. Take your best sales reps and clearly define the definition of a qualified
colleague or voice mail to deal with.

    # 1 Deal with the other person

    1. Always be pleasant and polite. Use the person's name as soon as you know it but not over familiar.

    2. Use your prospects name and your name; say - "Will you please tell John Smith that Alan Fairweather is on the phone for him."

    3. If you're asked what it's about, say - "It's about the contents of a letter Mr Smith has received. (More later) Will you tell him that Alan Fairweather is on the phone for him please!"

    4. If you're told that your prospect is in a meeting, find out what time they'll be out of the meeting and ask if it that would be a good time to call.

    5. Thank the person for their help and say - "I'll call back at 3.30 and look forward to speaking to John then. Thanks for your help Mary."

None of this is easy but persevere and don't be nuisance. Always be friendly, firm and courteous with Mary.
