This is fairly simple. What is supposed to happen then, is that you and the Webmaster of the chosen site put up "reciprocal links". You link to them - they link to you. You give them a "Instant communication? Palm Pilots, laptops, cell phones, instant messaging devices - of all the communications tools out there, the single best one is still the business card. With it, you instantly communicate your name, your business, your contact information and, with a little design capability, your personal style.A well designed business card marks you as a professional, so make sure you choose a design that reflects the products you represent. Selling high tech computer equipment or software? A sleek, modern, minimalist design is perfect. Selling Victorian clothing or home d?cor accessories? A more elegant design with a floral or lacy theme may be more suitable. And while basic white is still popular, choosing a card design with dynamic colors will make your business card stand out from the crowd.Make sure you include all the information you need to make it easy for prospective customers to contact you. Your name and business address, landline and cell phone numbers, and email address will direct your customers to you. If you have a website, including the URL on your business card will also let you provide substantial sales and b Full Color Brochures And Flyers Do Not Have To Cost A Small Fortune Since we are on the subject of linking to and from your blogs, and ostensibly this whole series was started with the discussion on links on our minds, (due to the discussion about Technorati rankings), it is not far-fetched to now devote an article or two on the effects of linking and bona fide strategies to get more links without being penalized or worse by the Search Engines.Todays high speed web and single sheet printers can produce flyers and brochures much more efficiently. Therefore, you can have 30,000 or more full color flyers or brochures printed on these presses for about the same cost or less than 10,000 two-color flyers at your local print shop. And, they can be usually delivered to your business in about a week. Most of these companies do not sell to the general public. But, you can find some wholesale suppliers online that cater to newspapers, ad agencies, and to the general public. You can take advantage of their bulk buying power and get great prices on quality, full color glossy brochures, newspaper inserts, and sales flyers! How do you find these wholesale printers? Go online and type in "newspaper inserts" into your Yahoo or Google search. There will be several of these vendors to choose from. Compare their prices and shipping costs to your location. And, be aware of the sites that do not include their prices. They will almost always be higher when you call them. These printers can provide different sizes and paper weights depending on your needs. The flyers can also be folded one, twic It is necessary to understand that there are certain "linking strategies" which are no longer looked upon kindly by the Search Engines (and even many surfers). On the by-and-by I will mention these "bad" strategies in my articles. However, right now we will just mention the most blatant ones. And we will begin with the negative. It is often the case that when we are starting out and looking for links, that we consider "link banks" or "link farms". The ones that particularly a waste of times and money are those that will "for a small fee" charge you money to use them. Here is how they work. You go into a link-farm and they maintain a database full of customers just like yourself. If they are halfway tech-savvy they will also categorize their links so that you can link to other web-sites that are within your "sphere". You go to the categories that interest you, and you click on those web-sites that seem to be related in content to yours. The system then sends out an automated email to the webmasters of those sites telling them of your link-exchange request. The webmaster can either approve or decline. This is fairly simple. These folks don’t get the fact that their betters have labored ceaselessly to discover and to codify a routine so they don’t have to use trial and error each time they want to earn a paycheck. All they have to do is punch in, do the job the official way, and then punch out, and they’ll be able to pay their bills.(2) It takes effort and stamina and what my drama teacher in high school referred to as “performance discipline” to put on a show and It is necessary to understand that there are certain "linking strategies" which are no longer looked upon kindly by the Search Engines (and even many surfers). It is cluttered. It is LOUD!Creating products, ideas, philosophies and brands that are normal is like asking customers to find a needle in a stack of needles. Here’s why this is happening:1. The Time-Choice Paradox. There’s entirely too much stuff out there. Too many products. Too many blogs. Too many service providers. Too many options. Too many choices. And this trend creates the ultimate irony: with every new choice comes less time in which customers have to make it.See, several decades ago, people weren’t as rushed. But then again, they didn’t have 97 kinds of energy bars to choose from.LESSON LEARNED: the competition is fierce. Stand out or get counted out.2. Changing Expectations. The absolute minimum of customer expectations is radically higher than it used to be. (You can thank the Internet for this one.) Think about it. The luxuries we experience daily were unimaginable fifty years ago: instant access to unlimited information, 24-7 shopping op It is often the case that when we are starting out and looking for links, that we consider "link banks" or "link farms". A dynamic company could be characterized by the way action and analysis is combined in an efficient way. Too much action maybe counter-effective. This could be the case for instance if these actions contributed from the various parts of the organization do not add-up.We all know that in most cases strategic planning’s will be prepared by staff departments. These are dedicated to thinking about future scenarios. And some moment in time, these ideas about future changes will be in front of the operation. There is a moment where you have to take the steps. This will be a period with a lot of uncertainty. You have to let go of current activities and rituals and you are to focus on something new, that is not clearly defined yet. This will lead to insecurity. The organization all together is less confident in what the next steps will have to be. But also on an individual level, employees are concerned with doubts about the near future and the way to get there. These emotions will slow the organization down. You link to them - they link to you. You give them a "hot-link/back-link" to their site they give one to you. Sounds simple doesn't it? Well... First and foremost you have just bled out another link. Okay not so bad, unless you constantly do this. A site with too many "bleeding links" and almost no content is marked as a spam site. One which simply puts links up to other sites, adds the keywords, some junk content and tries to move up in the Search Engine ranking. BTW..this works. It works and works well. For a couple of weeks until the Search Engines get around to actually botting, caching and running their algorithms on your site. Then you are penalized or simply thrown to the back of the line.Sales information resource Just Sell, calls caring "sales love". Here's the meaning:Sales love ('sAlz - luv): noun: 1: unselfish and loyal care for the good of a customer, prospect, reseller, and/or team member. The only reason we are in business is to provide value to a group of people who care about the story we tell.According to business guru Jay Abraham, in his book Getting Everything You Can out of Everything You Got, "A successful business starts not with just a great idea or product. Rather, it starts with the desire to provide a solution to another's problem."Client means, "Under the protection of another." Customer means, "One who purchases goods and services."Everyone who does business with you must be a client. Never serve people merely as customers. They are too important to you.Falling in love with your client is where sales and marketing really begin.* Care about your clients more than yourself.* Love your clients; not your business.* Always ensure complete client satisfaction, no matter what.Take time to understand what the client RE But there is a very cagey thing these link-farms do as well. What they offer you is either free link exchange or for a few bucks more you get the PRO edition. The Pro edition allows you to put all your reciprocal links into a database and whenever someone accesses your site these links are fed out in pages. Lots and lots of people, newbies usually, go for the PRO option. After all for $30 every couple of months, they don't have to add to their HTML every time a new link is agreed upon. They just add it to the program database which takes care of the rest. The thing is then they are not bleeding links as the information is held on a central server (not on their own servers) and I challenge
