Teleselling and Static On the Phone Lines
If you do a lot of telephone sales then you know that about the worst thing that can happen is a bad phone line. Any sales person is on the phone constantly setting up meetings, scheduling appointments and perhaps even taking orders and closing deals, but when the phone is full of static the sales person looks foolish and miss communications can lead to catastrophes down the road. Most sales people do not do this by practice, but sometimes the best thing to do is simply say this phone line has too much static and therefore I will have to call you back later. When a sales person is frustrated or angry due to the phone lines they worsen

Newsbytes From The World Wide Web
** Google Desktop Live **Google's free desktop search utility made it out of the "beta" stage and users can now download a finished 1.0 version from http://desktop.google.com for free. With improvements over the "beta" version released in 2004, the finished version not only allows you to search your own computer for Microsoft Office documents, emails, and instant messaging history, but now supports music, video, images, PDF files, and the Firefox and Netscape Web browsers. In their never-ending quest to make their name synonymous with "search," Google's Desktop Search utility makes a bold step towards dominating the deskt
One of the best ways to make fast and substantial cash online is to create your own info-product. This might be a "special report", a newsletter or, more commonly, an informative ebook.

Desperate Buyers Only is an ebook by Alexis Dawes promising to give the full rundown on info-product creation, from the birth of the idea to penning the ebook to writing the sales letter and eventually marketing it. Heck, she even encourages you to be lazy about the entire process.

So who is the ebook suitable for? Can anybody make use of it? And does it really contain a formula to make cash? As an internet marketer with interests in multiple streams of income, I have taken a look at Desperate Buyers Only…

    Section 1 -- My Story

A neat little chapter where Alexis talks about the profitability of writing eBooks as an author instead of writing articles. She points out that she created a 6 page report that continues to earn her $24.99 a pop, rather than the one-off fee you could expect from any other writing gig.

Section 2 -- How to Choose Topics that Attract Readers Like Bees to Honey

Perhaps the most important chapter in the ebook, Alexis explains how to choose a profitable audience to target your info-product for. She provides 13 examples of "desperate buyers", and then tells you how to research your audience by simply using the power of Google.

Section 3 -- Quick Content Creation - The Formula to Short, Sweet and Valuable

Alexis tells you how to automatically fill your info-product with content providing a few killer tips that many won't have thought of. You're taught the key to compiling the insider secrets the reader will desire, as well as learning how to locate experts in the field to directly provide the content for you. Also supplied is a fantastic sheet of title suggestions where you literally "fill in the blanks". Finally you're given a comprehensive guide on how to price your item.

Section 4 -- How to Eat an Entire Army of Competitors for Breakfast

This section of Desperate Buyers Only opens with Alexis telling us how one of her brief reports still earns her anywhere between $150 - $250 a day, even though many would think her niche to be unprofitable.

She then provides possibly the most valuable tactic I've ever read - how to create a sales letter. She calls this the "5 Point Fish Hook". I can't begin to describe how many resources Alexis stuffs into this strategy, but suffice to say that absolutely every angle is covered. I would argue that the step-by-step strategy to creating an effective sales letter is worth the price of the ebook alone…probably many times over.

Section 5 -- Marketing Survival Guide - How to Thrive Like an Olympic Gold Medallist

So you have already been told how to identify a good "desperate buyer's" subject, you've been told what content you should stick in the report and how to obtain that content, and you've been told how to create a killer sales page. The final chapter of Desperate Buyers Only gives you a formula to drive visitors, i.e. the cash, to your sales page.

Turn Your Slow Season into Your Best Season
Has your slow season turned into a lazy season? Many times, it’s just an excuse for salespeople who lack the creativity and determination to make sales. Their sales are slow because they allow them to be. They would rather take a nap and let the time slip by.Well, YOU should stay awake! The slow season is the BEST time to get in front of your customers! Think about it: While the rest of your industry is resting, you can take advantage of the opportunity to stand out among your competition and attract customers. The best way to do this is to have clear objectives. How to Create a Perennial Brand
Not many businesses can expect to create a perennial brand like Coca-Cola, but they can learn from Coca-Cola to try to create a rock-solid, lasting, recognizable brand. Why do some brands last for decades and continue to be strong? First, they must build credibility, recognition, track record, reliability, consistency, and they must be memorable. The longer the brand survives, the more entrenched it becomes in our culture. As stated, one of the most important ways to create a long-lasting brand is to be consistent. Do not change your strategy, your advertising, or your product and still expect brand power. Your original brand was

A Guide to Successful Conference Planning
The term conference can be used to describe any meeting of people to ‘confer’ on a certain topic. Far removed from the stereotypical ‘year-end company conference’ which is just an excuse for the whole company to pull into a posh hotel and have a weekend long party, the planning and execution of a successful and effective conference takes a lot of time, discipline and commitment.Depending on the size of your project, successfully planning a conference includes the following:* Setting up of a Conference Planning Committee.* Accurate budget planning.* Selecting an appropriate conference venue..* Negotiating a

She finishes this chapter with a mini-chapter with two case studies: "Anatomy of a $200 a Day Site" and "Anatomy of a $2600 Site". Here, Alexis shows us in full detail two of her reports and the exactly methods she used to drive traffic to them. What is wonderful is the full, unconditional disclosure of her methods - she even shows you what keywords she used for her Adwords campaign, as well as the names of the forums where she promoted her site for free.

Unlike many authors out there, Alexis isn't afraid to show actual, real examples to back up her teachings. You'll be hard-pressed to find this kind of candour - and verification - anywhere else.

    Section 6 -- Appendix

Finally we come to the appendix. Usually this wouldn't be worth writing about, but the one provided in Desperate Buyers Only is certainly worth a mention. After reading through the manual a couple of times, you can print out the appendix and stick it on the wall by your computer - you will get a complete bullet-pointed guide to everything else that is contained within the ebook.

    My Conclusion

Desperate Buyers Only is so good that you may find yourself a bit exasperated after finishing it. It is packed with ideas and there isn't an ounce of fluff to be found. This is another step-by-step, how-could-anyone-possibly-fail ebook that is to be highly recommended to all. You have a complete formula at your fingertips here and, like Alexis, perhaps you could write a short 6 page report and make $200 every day on autopilot.
