    One Internet Marketing Approach
Whether you are new to Internet marketing or frustrated by the experience, the concept is undisputedly a challenge. As they say, there is more than one way to skin a cat.One Internet Marketing ApproachBefore we get into a one particular internet marketing approach, we need to define what we mean by approach. Internet marketing is entirely different than brick and mortar marketing. The structure is composed of a number of factors including long and short term strategies, indirect branding marketization and traffic analysis. If you can master these subjects, you wil

SEO Writing for Your Own Website
Writing copy for your own website is a complex business. Not only do you have to write good copy to publicise your business and sell your services but, if you want your website to get seen, you have to understand a little about how the web works. SEO, Search Engine Optimization is the buzz word. Big businesses will pay for specialist SEO services, but what can small business owners do, if they are writing and building their own websites? The first thing to look at, before you even start writing, is the choice of keywords. Keywords are the words that search engines pick up
    JPEG

The JPEG image format was developed by the Joint Photographic Experts Group in the early 90s. JPEG images most often end with the file extension .jpg; although .jpeg, .JPEG, .JPG, .jpg, .jpe, .jfif, and .jfi are also used. JPEG is a lossy bitmap compression algorithm meant primarily for digital photos. Lossy means that when JPEG images are saved they are compressed to less than their original size, but this comes with a loss in quality. Generally when saving a JPEG, compression is defined in percentages, with 100% being the highest quality but biggest file size. As a rough guide, 95% to 85% is good for logos and images used in formatting. Images of people or landscapes can go down to as low as 65% without obviously noticeable artifacts on the image.

For web designers JPEGs save space and load time, and offer a good general image format for digital photos and some logos. When using JPEGs you must be careful to avoid image degradation. If a JPEG is edited and then saved again as a JPEG, your image will have deteriorated in quality because it has been compressed twice. Sometimes in only two or three generations this can render the image unusable. It is always best to save your images in a lossless format, such as .png, .tiff, .raw, or .xcf, and then, when needed, save the file as a

Feed me - Satisfy the Search Engines and Your Site's Visitors With Keyword-Rich Content
Search engines love content. Graphics may make your site look great, but a nice picture does not attract a search engine. Or a searcher for that matter. Good, relevant content does.Search engines aren't all that different from people. When faced with a ton of choices, they want to know which sites are the best. And, the best sites are the ones that give the most accurate and relevant information.Good content serves three main purposes:1. Learn how to Compress Time
In the popular 1980’s movie “Dune,” man learned that by “folding space” the distance between two points shortened and he could cover those distances faster. Around 1995, we found a substance that could bend time in the business community -- it was called Venture Capital. With enough of it, we could compress the evolution of a startup company from a few decades to a few years. Companies like Amazon, eBay and most recently Google showed us that billion dollar companies could be built in years, not decades. What was more interesting is that these companies began growing fast

Search Engine Optimization and Meta Tags - Getting Started
With the billions of webpages that have been created, it becomes clear why search engines were created. Internet users need a navigation system to help them find what they need when surfing the web. This navigation system has been provided by internet search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, MSN, and a plethora of smaller search engines that are being added every month. With so many keyword-driven avenues through which people travel to find what they want, web developers realize that they're an absolute necessity for success. In order to achieve a relevant online presence f

It is always best to save your images in a lossless format, such as .png, .tiff, .raw, or .xcf, and then, when needed, save the file as a JPEG. JPEGs are widely compatible on all modern browsers and are the most used image format on the web.

    GIF

The GIF format, or Graphics Interchange Format, was introduced in 1987 by CompuServe and recognizable by the .gif file extension. It is a lossless bitmap compression format for color images and animation allowing the use of 256 colors out of a palette of 16 million. Lossless means that all of the information in the original image is saved in the saved GIF, although, because GIF only supports 256 colors it isn't truly a perfect reproduction to the viewer.

Today, GIF is used to display things like buttons and low/med-quality animation on websites. GIF is not recommended for use with photographs due to the 256 color limitation, although there are workarounds. GIF animated buttons and the like were once popular, now they are fading from use, particularly due to Flash and better taste. Notably, GIF supports transparency, allowing the use of on or off "see-through" effects with images. Currently, PNG and M
