Follow the Leader

Father's Day is soon approaching and it's a day to recognize the leadership that our own father's had in shaping us into what we are today. For many families, a father hasn't been a major role in their lives and without this strong example to follow, many children don't know and may never know just what it means to have a father and what it will mean to become one. God made fathers to be like Him, an upstanding man who instills good morals in his children so that they too may leave a legacy for future generations. A father should be a leader and someone we are proud to follow.

Follow The Leader

We've been told for years that the best way to learn something is by example. That is why we are taught by teachers, use computer tutorials, and follow examples and exhibits in books. But what about in day to day life? Are there people that you can follow that intuitively know exactly what your needs and wishes are, so that you can copy their actions and/or solicit their advice?

Attaining Trust Through Competence

Competence is your knowledge and ability in a particular subject area. Competency can be real, perceived, or imagined. The Leadership Bridge

As a leader you will always be challenged with blending the wants of the organization and the wants of employees. Here is where the conflict lies; every organization has a fundamental desire to succeed and employees want to be successful in their work. Organizations use strategic plans, operational plans and human resources plans, however these planning tools hardly ever take into consideration the staff skill to carry out the organizational plan
