Thinking from the End

Part of being a Success Coach is to help people think of the end result they want to achieve in their life or business and then to work backwards planning a step-by-step strategy to achieve their desired end result. The other day, on my birthday, I spent the afternoon attending the funeral of a friend's mother. While an illness took its toll quickly resulting in her death, the close family members talked of their dear departed last words as being an indication that she was ready to go, to now join her beloved son that had passed on less than a year and a half before.


Perfect Balance

Lately, many of my record attempts have involved balance - remaining upright while hopping on one leg, staying balanced while trying to juggle on a pogo stick, balancing an egg in a spoon while running a mile. With every record-breaking attempt, in fact, whenever anyone tries to go beyond their previous capacity, the challenge not only involves balancing outer circumstances, but maintaining inner balance as well. Often, this inner struggle can be more challenging than the outer one
