The Name of Jesus

One of these star performers in carrying out what God had foreordained, is Pontius Pilate. Even though as we read the scriptures, he doesn't appear to be such a bad guy, but two words came to my mind in describing him. Those two words are pompous, and pious. Does this tell you anything about him? He had an attitude to say the least.

What Is Truth?

I love this time of year. It brings a promise of new beginnings after laying dormant for the past few months. What was still under snow last week is now emerging into beautiful spring flowers. What a difference one week makes. It is proof that there is a divine Creator to the seasons and how timely they are. This time of year which brings promises was not an accident. God does not make mistakes. In a couple of weeks, churches around the world will be celebrating the risen Lord. His resurrection brought a new covenant, a new promise of ever lasting life for all those who believe in Him. It's God's truth that His Son is the one true and living way to enter into His kingdom. Aside from accepting Christ, God says no one will ever see the kingdom of God. This is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the gospel truth. Do you believe it?
